Business of the Year The pinnacle award for a standout business exemplifying excellence across all areas of operation and community involvement. Community Engagement Celebrating businesses or organizations dedicated to enhancing North Durham through charitable activities, volunteering, or events. Entrepreneur of the Year Highlighting an individual who demonstrates exceptional vision, leadership, and success in their field. Young Entrepreneur of the Year (18-35 years old) New for 2025, this award honors young entrepreneurs making significant contributions and demonstrating exceptional potential. New Business of the Year Recognizing innovative start-ups that have established themselves within the past three years. Not-for-Profit of the Year Celebrating not-for-profit organizations that make a meaningful difference in North Durham communities. Farm to Future Award Also new this year, this category honors innovation in agriculture, technology, and agri-tourism, showcasing forward-thinking practices and community engagement. People’s Choice Award Voted on by the public in January, this award celebrates the businesses that resonate most with our community.
